Below, editors from ZJN briefly explain this issue. #Analysis of Factors Affecting the Efficiency of Sludge Steam Dryers The moisture content of feed materials, thermal insulation and sealing performance of the cylinder, drying process, and other factors are the main ones affecting drying efficiency. To improve equipment performance, improvements should be made in these aspects. 
1. Moisture Content of Materials The higher the moisture content of materials, the longer they need to stay in the drying chamber and the more heat energy is consumed to evaporate water. Therefore, mechanical dehydration can be used before drying to reduce the moisture content of materials as much as possible, which helps accelerate drying speed and save energy consumption.
2. Thermal Insulation and Sealing Performance of the Cylinder Traditional single-drum dryers are widely criticized for poor thermal insulation, high heat loss, and uneven drying of finished products. In contrast, new sludge steam dryers adopt a triple-drum structure, with the main body composed of three nested concentric cylinders. The cylinder is made of high-temperature-resistant and wear-resistant stainless steel. 
 3.
