Sludge is a common type of solid waste. Traditional disposal methods mainly include simple landfilling, incineration and agricultural utilization. These conventional approaches have obvious drawbacks, failing to realize effective resource recycling of sludge and meet the disposal requirements of harmless treatment, volume reduction and resource utilization. Therefore, from the perspectives of environmental protection and economic benefits, sludge drying technology plays an irreplaceable role in sludge treatment. The Three-stage Multi-loop Dryer (with disintegrator) is widely applied and specially designed for drying high-moisture, high-viscosity sludge, as well as solid and hazardous waste sludge. The complete drying system consists of a drying cylinder, induced draft fan, rotary rake crushing device, combined material lifting plates, transmission device, conveying equipment, heating system, supporting components and sealing devices. With rational design, stable performance, large processing capacity and low energy consumption, the production line features a high degree of automation and reliable operation, requiring only 1 to 2 operators.
Working Principle Description
Wet materials are conveyed to the hopper by a belt conveyor or bucket elevator, and then fed into the drying cylinder through pipelines. Inside the cylinder, the rotary rake crushing device continuously disperses and breaks up the sludge to form a fluidized boiling state. Supported by scientifically designed material guide plates and lifting plates, the sludge keeps moving rapidly within the cylinder.
High-temperature hot air supplied by the heating equipment passes through the material layer, enabling instant heat and mass exchange with the sludge. A dry shell is quickly formed on the sludge surface, which effectively prevents adhesion to the cylinder wall and dead corners, avoids material accumulation and blockage, and turns viscous sludge into loose granular materials.
After three continuous drying stages inside the chamber, the sludge reaches the qualified moisture standard and is discharged as finished products from the outlet, completing the whole drying process.
